What is your favorite musical instrument?

Has to be the theramin. Great sound and great piece of tech.
After my last post, I thought I should post a followup to say that I enjoyed the vivisection debate, although my position hasn't really changed. I want to see an end to animal testing but only when there is an alternative that is as medically valid. With more events such as the failed drug tests in London recently that almost led to the deaths of the 6 volunteers, I can see the alternative coming sooner rather than later.
But the most interesting part of the programme wasn't the vivisection debate. In Scotland, we got a discussion on the arms flights though Prestwick airport. Yes, the pilots were asked to carry something for someone else. Bombs packed by the US bound for Israel to help them bomb more UN outposts.
Not that I've got any sympathy for those who supply arms to the other side either you understand, but I'd like to see the government that represents me doing what it can to stop any arms trade through here, particularly, as in the Middle East, civilians are the most likely targets.
On the Newsnight blog this week, I found this. They've entered the video blogging age, with a highlights show, so if you want to see the debates on Israel, Vivisection and a couple of other things, have a look at the link below. Best of all, because it's a blogcast, it's a downloadable video, so no need to use the BBC video player and mess about with plugins, it'll play in your favourite player, which for me is Kaffeine.
